2018 Mustang Youth Football Camp
As we begin this new era of Mustang football, I find it vitally important that we continue to build upon the good things happening within our youth football program. I feel that it is important to learn some of the basic skills and terminology that we use at the high school level within our youth program. However, the primary purpose of any youth program should be to have fun and improve basic football skills and fundamentals. Of course, the younger players are not expected to grasp the entirety of what they high school program does. It simply helps everyone if we are all on the same page! If our players can grow up within similar systems and terminology as is being taught at the high school level, it can help us all do what is best for the program as a whole; putting our kids in the best position to learn the game and achieve success on the field.
